You rush to the nearest Captain and let him know what you saw. The Captain rushes to alert the Infantry Captain General. You stay at your post, but with the Trolloc horde rushing up the hill, you have to just assume your superiors will handle the flanking fist.
You watch as the Trollocs start to kill off your friends in front of you. The line buckles and starts to collapse. You hear shouted commands of “STAND YOUR GROUND!”
You look around you and see that the line will not hold, though there are other troops standing behind that are not joining the fray.
- Knowing that you will not come out of this alive, you cut your losses and retreat, holding to a philosophy of running to fight another day
- You stand your ground, knowing that this is probably the end
